A: Yes, you can enroll for as many examinations as you feel confident attending. Whether it is only 1 exam or all exams per selected category – it’s your choice.
A: Partly. Some modules can be passed simultaneously for both regulations, while others cannot, because certain submodules differ between Part-66 and CAR-66. The number of examination questions, levels, and submodule content can vary. Regulations change constantly, so please request up-to-date clarification on which modules can be passed simultaneously and which must be passed separately. For example, M10 — Aviation Legislation — is very different between EASA and GCAA, so it will have to be passed separately under each regulation.
A: No, the examination is closed-book. This means that using any additional materials or devices (including smartphones, smartwatches, and smart glasses) is prohibited and is considered cheating, invalidating the examination results.
A: It depends on the authority of that specific country. We issue EASA Certificates of Recognition (EASA Form 148) upon successful completion of each basic examination module. Prior to applying for a maintenance licence in a specific country, please clarify which modules are needed for the relevant category. Maintenance licences are issued by national authorities, not by maintenance training organisations, and their requirements may vary.
A: Yes, correcting an answer during the examination is acceptable. Your final answer must be clearly marked and easily identifiable on the answer sheet. The procedure for correcting answers is explained before each examination. However, once the examination is finished, all examination papers are collected by the examiner, and no further corrections to these papers are allowed. Your papers will then be checked, and the examination is considered passed if 75% of the questions have been answered correctly (rounded down).
A: No, leaving and returning to the examination room is not allowed during the examination. Toilet visits should be made before or after the examination.
